    Dear Parents and Guardians,
       It is with great pride and exhilaration that I write this letter of introduction to you as the newly appointed principal of Heritage Rose Elementary. I am truly honored to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a rich tradition of education. I have been dedicated to the field of education for more than fifteen years and have had the privilege of working with our students this past year.
       I have been part of the Fort Bend ISD family for the past eleven years. During this time, I served as a classroom teacher at Mission Bend Elementary. My most recent administrative experience includes being an assistant principal at Burton Elementary, Goodman Elementary and Heritage Rose Elementary.

       As your next instructional leader, my goal is to establish excellent rapport with stakeholders in our school community, ensure collaboration, promote a positive culture and maintain a safe academic learning environment.
    My educational philosophy entails being a valuable leader, who has a solid commitment to consistently provide enriching opportunities for lifelong learning. I look forward to working as a team to support each scholar at Heritage Rose Elementary with meeting his or her goals and having a successful year.

       Con gran orgullo y alegría escribo esta carta de presentación para ustedes como la nueva directora de la Primaria Heritage Rose. Me siento verdaderamente honrada de tener la oportunidad de dirigir una escuela con una rica tradición educativa. Me he dedicado al campo de la educación durante más de quince años y he tenido el privilegio de trabajar con nuestros estudiantes el año pasado.
       He sido parte de la familia del distrito educativo de Fort Bend durante los últimos once años. Durante este tiempo, me desempeñé como maestra del aula en la Primaria Mission Bend. Mi experiencia administrativa más reciente incluye ser subdirectora en la Primaria Burton, la Primaria Goodman y la Primaria Heritage Rose.

    Como su próximo líder de instrucción, mi objetivo es establecer una excelente relación con las partes interesadas de nuestra comunidad escolar, asegurar la colaboración, promover una cultura positiva y mantener un entorno de aprendizaje académico seguro.
    Mi filosofía educativa implica ser un líder valioso, que tiene un sólido compromiso de brindar constantemente oportunidades enriquecedoras para el aprendizaje de por vida.   • Mrs. Andrea Phillips

    Assistant Principal at Heritage Rose E.S.

    I am pleased to join the Mustang Family. Here’s a bit about my background: I have spent the past 25 years with FBISD, starting as a 4th grade teacher and advancing to an instructional specialist in ELA. I then spent 5 years as a dyslexia teacher and have served as a Literacy Intervention teacher for the past 8 years.

    My educational journey includes a B.A. in Education, an M.Ed. in Curriculum and Instruction, and Principal Certification from Region IV. I’m excited to bring my passion for teaching and learning to our incredible Mustang community! As I transition into the role of Assistant Principal, I bring a background in teacher collaboration, curriculum development, and instructional leadership. I am committed to supporting both teachers and students and have experience in coordinating events and leading professional development. 

    Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family, including my two sons and my spouse of 32 years. I look forward to contributing to our school’s success.

    Me complace unirme a la Familia Mustang. Aquí hay un poco sobre mi trayectoria: He pasado los últimos 25 años en FBISD, comenzando como maestra de cuarto grado y avanzando a especialista en instrucción en ELA. Luego pasé 5 años como maestra de dislexia y he sido maestra de intervención en alfabetización durante los últimos 8 años.

    Mi viaje educativo incluye una Licenciatura en Educación, una Maestría en Educación en Currículo e Instrucción, y una Certificación de Directora de la Región IV. ¡Estoy emocionada de traer mi pasión por la enseñanza y el aprendizaje a nuestra increíble comunidad Mustang! Al pasar al rol de Subdirectora, traigo una experiencia en colaboración docente, desarrollo de currículo y liderazgo instruccional. Estoy comprometida a apoyar tanto a maestros como a estudiantes y tengo experiencia en coordinar eventos y liderar desarrollo profesional.

    Fuera del trabajo, disfruto pasar tiempo con mi familia, incluyendo mis dos hijos y mi cónjuge de 32 años. Espero contribuir al éxito de nuestra escuela.

    Greetings Mustang Family! I am deeply humbled and honored to serve the students, staff and community of Heritage Rose Elementary. I have had the privilege of working my entire career in Fort Bend ISD. Over the past 21 years, I have served in various teaching and administrative roles. My experience has solidified my belief that academic, social, emotional and behavioral growth are essential to developing the whole child. I am committed to inspiring, challenging, collaborating and supporting all students and stakeholders.

    I hold a master’s degree from the University of Concordia Texas in Educational Administration. My bachelor’s degree was earned from the University of Houston in Interdisciplinary Studies. I am married to my amazing husband, Anthony, and am the proud mother of an adult son.  In my leisure time, I can be found traveling, hiking, biking, reading, or listening to music.

    Me siento profundamente honrada y privilegiada de servir a los estudiantes, al personal y a la comunidad de la Primaria Heritage Rose. He tenido el privilegio de trabajar toda mi carrera en el Distrito Escolar Independiente de Fort Bend. Durante los últimos 21 años, he ocupado diversos roles en la enseñanza y la administración. Mi experiencia ha reforzado mi convicción de que el crecimiento académico, social, emocional y conductual es esencial para desarrollar al niño en su totalidad. Estoy comprometida a inspirar, desafiar, colaborar y apoyar a todos los estudiantes y partes interesadas.

    Tengo una maestría en Administración Educativa de la Universidad de Concordia Texas. Obtuve mi licenciatura en Estudios Interdisciplinarios en la Universidad de Houston. Estoy casada con mi increíble esposo, Anthony, y soy la orgullosa madre de un hijo adulto. En mi tiempo libre, me encontrarás viajando, haciendo senderismo, ciclismo, leyendo o escuchando música.

  • Mrs. Ailynne Abarado

    Assistant Principal at Heritage Rose

    I am excited to serve as one of the assistant principals at Heritage Rose Elementary. I moved to the USA at the age of seven and earned my bachelor’s degree from the University of Texas at Austin and my master’s degree from Houston Baptist University. Over the past 20 years, I have had the privilege of serving the Fort Bend ISD community in various roles, including as an elementary teacher, ESL support specialist, Reading Recovery teacher, and counselor across all grade levels.
    I am dedicated to fostering strong collaboration with teachers and parents, working closely with them to provide the support and resources necessary for cultivating a collaborative school environment. My approach centers on identifying and nurturing each student’s unique strengths, helping them succeed while encouraging lifelong learning. By building a supportive and cooperative school community, I hope to ensure that all students flourish academically, socially, and emotionally.
    Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my wonderful husband, our two active sons who attend FBISD schools, and our Maltipoo, Sophy.

    Estoy emocionada de servir como una de las subdirectoras en la escuela primaria Heritage Rose. Me mudé a los Estados Unidos a la edad de siete años y obtuve mi licenciatura en la Universidad de Texas en Austin y mi maestría en la Universidad Bautista de Houston. Durante los últimos 20 años, he tenido el privilegio de servir a la comunidad de Fort Bend ISD en varios roles, incluyendo como maestra de primaria, especialista en apoyo de ESL, maestra de Reading Recovery y consejera en todos los niveles de grado.

    Estoy comprometida con fomentar una colaboración sólida con los maestros y padres, trabajando estrechamente con ellos para brindar el apoyo y los recursos necesarios para cultivar un entorno escolar colaborativo. Mi enfoque se centra en identificar y desarrollar las fortalezas únicas de cada estudiante, ayudándolos a tener éxito mientras se fomenta el aprendizaje a lo largo de la vida.     Fuera del trabajo, disfruto pasar tiempo con mi maravilloso esposo, nuestros dos hijos activos que asisten a escuelas de FBISD, y nuestra perrita Maltipoo, Sophy.
