Hi! My name is Carrie Mustachia. Most of the children and parents call me "Mrs. M." I have taught Kindergarten since 1994 and thoroughly enjoy all of the challenges and intricacies involved in educating and guiding young minds. My philosophy is that children need a nurturing and stimulating environment in which to explore and gather knowledge about their world. All children are special and unique and deserve the opportunity to have an education geared toward their needs. My goal is to provide them with that positive, fun, and challenging environment.  I grew up in Houston, Texas, and graduated from Sharpstown High School.  I attended Southwestern University in Georgetown, Texas, and earned my Bachelor of Arts for Child Study and Language Development with a minor in special education and an endorsement for early childhood studies. I have two children that are products of Palmer Elementary and currently both are attending Texas A&M University.  They are my pride and joy!  Aside from teaching, I enjoy traveling, reading, being silly with my dog, and playing games with my children and husband.
