• Broadcast team

    The broadcasting team will consist of 4th and 5th graders who will be running the morning announcements for Oakland Elementary. These students will learn how to run the sound boards and cameras as well as report any important announcements for the school.

    Requirements for being on the broadcast team:

    • Follow the Wildcat R.O.A.R (Respect Others, Outshine Expectations, Always Be Positive, Roaring to Success)
    • Must have at least one teacher recommendation
    • Must arrive no later than 7:40 AM to ensure we are ready to go live at 8:05 AM.
    • Must be in good academic standing (passing all classes during progress reports and end of 9 weeks).
    • IF they are unable to achieve these requirements, they will be asked to no longer be on the broadcast team.
