Community Service Opportunities
Wondering what volunteering or joining a club has to do with college applications & scholarships?
Many scholarships are based on long-term school and community involvement. Your volunteer and community efforts show who you are and what you value. Also, colleges like dedication to specific organizations, and they like to see leadership within that spirit of volunteerism.
Community Service is described as anything that benefits the local community. Students can join in with a local organization or find a need in the community and seek to provide for that need.

Most of the organizations are located within the Sugar Land area, but a few are in the greater Houston area as well.
