• Medications at School

Whenever possible, medication prescribed by a doctor should be given at home by the parents/guardian. However, when this is not feasible, or if a dose is needed during school hours, then medications can be stored and administered in the clinic. The parent/guardian must supply all medications needed to be given during the school day.

Students cannot carry any medication at school, including over-the-counter medicine such as cough drops, Tylenol, etc. At the end of the school year, any remaining student medication must be picked up by parents/guardian.
