Special Education: Math Inclusion Teacher (Grades 7-8)

Greetings, CMMS Hawks!

This is my fourth year teaching at Christa McAuliffe Middle School and my 16th year in education. I have 12 years of experience teaching middle school math, covering everything from Math 6 through Algebra. Having lived nearly my entire life in Missouri City, Texas, I attended Briargate Elementary, Missouri City Middle, and Willowridge High School. I then completed my undergraduate degree in Environmental Science at the University of Houston and returned for a Master's in Architecture.

Before beginning my teaching career, I worked with WHR Architects, contributing to projects such as Memorial Hermann Hospital in Sugar Land, the DeWitt School of Nursing at Stephen F. Austin University, and other healthcare facilities. Outside of school, my husband and I manage a real estate business. I enjoy spending time with my family, tending to our garden, reading at home, and relaxing by the water. I’m fortunate to have a lake in my backyard, adding a bit of tranquility to my daily life.
