Mrs. Uschold

Welcome back Oakland Wildcats! This is my ninth year in Fort Bend and my fourth year at Oakland. I am so excited to be a part of the community and such an amazing school!
I would love to tell you a little bit more about myself. After graduating from Sam Houston State University (Eat em up Kats!) with a degree in Elementary Education in 2002, I moved to Houston to begin my teaching career. My first 5 years of teaching were all in first grade in Spring ISD. Family brought me to Richmond where I am starting my 14th year of teaching.

I am married to my husband, Chris and have two daughters named Reese Elizabeth and Riley Grace. Reese is a second grader at Oakland and my younger daughter is 5. During my free time, I enjoy soaking up every minute with my daughters, shopping, reading, going to Astros and Texans games, and spending free time with family and friends!

Teaching first grade is where my heart is because there is nothing more rewarding than watching a first grader blossom into a successful student and a fluent reader. I look forward to teaching your child and I know this will be an amazing year!!
