I'm Kathy Leva, the Math Specialist at LCE. I've been a teacher in Fort Bend for 24 years, and a Math Specialist for 13 of those years. I'll be working at both Lexington Creek and Highlands Elementary schools again this year.

As a Math Specialist, I collaborate with teachers to plan math lessons, gather necessary materials, and co-teach and model math lessons in the classroom. I also analyze and update math data to help teachers make informed curriculum decisions. Additionally, I serve as a liaison between central administration and the building staff, providing teaching and assessment training seminars and assisting with the implementation of new educational programs.

I'm thrilled to be part of the Lion family and look forward to another exciting school year!
