My name is Anna Carter. I am so excited to be at Sienna Crossing.     I am beginning my 22nd  year of teaching, and my 8th year as a Special Education teacher. I am certified to provide dyslexia services to students, and I have completed several hours towards a Master's Degree in Special Education and hope to go back to school very soon to finish working on my degree.   Special Education is my passion, and I have truly found my calling.  It makes my heart so happy to see my students grow academically and socially.  

My husband I are the proud parents of two amazing boys that are very talented musicians.  We also have two dogs, and one cat. Our oldest son is a vet student and our youngest son is a passionate musician working to complete his performance and music ed degree.  

Our family loves music of all kinds, ( of course, I live with 3 musicians), movies, cooking, animals, kayaking, fishing, baseball, the beach and our fur babies.

I am looking forward to a great year with my students, and I know we will all learn and grow this year. Thanks for sharing your children with me. I cannot wait to get to know all of you and build relationships that I hope will impact us for years to come.
