One of my greatest accomplishments has been the completion of my second Master of Education in Special Education Cross Categorical from Northern Arizona University in May 2012. This degree has enabled me to take on leadership responsibilities and work with children with special needs. I have worked as an educator for 20 years. My philosophy is based on the responsive needs of the community: each child, in each school, in every community deserves to be healthy, safe, engaged, supported, and challenged. I believe that providing an extraordinary education with unlimited opportunities can empower and enable all parents and students to achieve their goals.

I currently provide in-class support as a Special Education Specialist, serve as an AVID Coordinator, and coach volleyball, track, and soccer. In these roles, I support students both academically and athletically, helping them develop the skills, mindset, and confidence they need to succeed. I believe we can help our children reach their full potential by inspiring them to change their mindset and dream beyond what they can imagine.
