Hello and welcome to the 2025-2026 school year! I am so excited to be working with you all this upcoming year! This is my eighth year of teaching and my fourth year teaching at Oyster Creek Elementary School. I graduated with my Bachelor's of Arts in Political Science from Prairie View A&M University in 2014 and my Master's of Education in Special Education from Texas A&M University-San Antonio in 2018. I have served as a teaching assistant as well as a Special Education teacher throughout my career in education. 

It is my goal that your child will grow academically and have fun learning! Throughout the school year, we will focus on reading an array of texts and develop a deeper understanding of the books that are read. Students will collaborate with each other daily to discuss books they read in both whole and small group settings. 

It is my pleasure to serve the Oyster Creek community and I look forward to a fun and successful school year!
