Hello Students & Parents!

I am so excited about joining students and staff at Quail Valley Middle School and GTA Academy! I am Mrs. Lofters, and it is my pleasure to be your ELA teacher for the remainder of the 2024–2025 school year!

This year will begin my ninth year as an educator and my very first year teaching middle school here at QVMS. Prior to coming to Quail Valley, I taught English 1, English II, and English IV at both Jack Yates Senior High School, and most recently, Willowridge High School. 

Although it will be a late start, this year, I am looking forward to working alongside both students and parents as we navigate through the adjustments of a new campus for myself and a new grade level with new content and material for you all. I will work with you all to help you grow as readers, writers, listeners, and speakers while exploring a variety of texts from different genres. It is my goal to establish lasting relationships with each and every one of my students and their parents and to help them be better today than they were yesterday. While this year may have its challenges, I am excited to collaborate with you all to make it the best that it can be!
