My name is Lisa Parker and this is my 16th year of teaching. Born in Alexandria, LA and raised in Houston, TX.  Graduate of University of Houston - Downtown (B.S.) and NOVA Southeastern University (M.ED.)  I have taught kindergarten, 2^nd grade, 3^rd grade, and resource.  I am the mother of two young men Carl and Courtney Parker. I love traveling, shopping, and reading.  I have a strong passion for children with special needs. My goal this year is to help your child reach his or her full potential in a comfortable and fun learning environment. I am a firm believer in positive reinforcement and believe all children need to feel respected, valued, and loved. I strive to do my best in all three!

I am also blessed to have Mrs. Anitra Simpson, Ms. Ida Earle and our new ABC para Mrs. Jalesa Walker as part of the K-5 ABC Team. We all had a wonderful and restful summer and we’re ready to start the new school year.  We are a fantastic team and we work well together!  We love to laugh and make the learning environment fun and exciting.
