Mrs. Callie Ford, Assistant Principal
Hello James Patterson Elementary Family!
My name is Callie Ford, and I am incredibly excited to join the James Patterson Elementary team as your new Assistant Principal! Education is truly my passion—I come from a family of educators and feel honored to continue that legacy.
Before entering education, I worked as a financial analyst in the oil and gas industry, but I quickly realized my heart belonged in the classroom. I’ve spent the past ten years teaching, most recently as a 4th grade reading, writing, and social studies teacher. I’ve also served as a technology integration coach and was proud to be nominated for Teacher of the Year in both 2020 and 2021. I love finding creative ways to make learning fun and meaningful for students.
I grew up in Louisiana, and earned my Master’s degree in Educational Leadership. A fun fact about me: the library at my alma mater, the University of Louisiana at Lafayette, is named after my great aunt, Edith Garland Dupre!
I’m truly looking forward to supporting our students, staff, and families. Panther Pride!!!
