Hello Husky Family!! My name is Kay Chessher, and I am excited to be part of the 5th grade team again this year.  I graduated from Sam Houston State University (Eat 'Em Up Kats!!) with a Bachelor of Science in Academic Studies.  This is my ninth year in Fort Bend ISD, but my 28th year of teaching.  During those 28 years, I have taught 3rd, 4th, Gifted and Talented, and 5th grade.  I was selected as Madden's Teacher of the Year during the 2018-19 school year.  My husband and I have two children, Josh and Taylor. Our grandbabies, Lilly Kaye and Maddie Rose, celebrated their 8th and 5th birthdays this summer.  I want to thank you in advance for sharing your child with me.  I cannot wait to share in their successes and watch them grow and express themselves as individuals.
