Hello! I am Jade Rouzan, and this school year (2024-25) will be my eighth (8th) year in Education.  I'm from a little city in Louisiana called New Orleans.  It's known as the Crescent City because it's shaped like a crescent moon along the bend and banks of the Mississippi River.  I graduated from Loyola University New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts degree in mass communication with a concentration in journalism. I also have a minor in psychology. I worked in television broadcast for a local news station in New Orleans for about 3 1/2 years before deciding to change careers. Since leaving the world of broadcast for a life as an educator, I haven't looked back. I am where I belong! Teaching is my happy place!
