Welcome home Huskies! My name is Caitlyn Fleck, and I’m absolutely thrilled to be your child’s First Grade ELAR and Social Studies teacher this year! This is my 5th year at Madden Elementary, and I couldn’t be more excited to be joining the First Grade team. My journey here started as a PreK paraprofessional for 2 years, followed by another 2 years supporting Kindergarteners. Now, I’m excited to dive into the world of First Grade!

I’m married with two kids, a boy and a girl, both of whom are proud Huskies, just like me! I earned my bachelor’s degree in Educational Studies from Grand Canyon University and am certified to teach Early Childhood through 6th grade. I’ve always been passionate about early childhood education, and nothing makes me happier than making a positive impact on young learners.

When I’m not in the classroom, I enjoy spending time outdoors with my family, cuddling up with my bearded dragon (yes, really!), reading, or doing my nails. 

I can’t wait to create a safe, welcoming space for my students, and I’m so excited for all the learning, fun, and growth that lies ahead this year!
