Hi! My name is Ms. Yingying Shan, and I’m so excited to be your kindergarten teacher this year! I earned both my bachelor’s and master’s degrees in Early Childhood Education, with my master’s from the University of Houston–Clear Lake. I’ve spent the past eight years teaching first grade, and this is my very first year in kindergarten!

I love engaging students in fun, play-based activities that help them explore, imagine, and learn. This year, I expect us to be kind friends, curious learners, and brave problem-solvers. We will practice sharing, listening, and working together every day. Most importantly, we will have fun while growing into confident, independent learners.
