Grissel Baylon is a dedicated bilingual specialist with 19 years of experience serving Emergent Bilingual students and empowering educators. Her journey includes impactful roles as a bilingual teacher, dual language teacher, and bilingual interventionist, culminating in her current position as a bilingual specialist. Grissel holds a master’s degree in education from the University of Saint Thomas and is deeply committed to fostering collaborative environments where teachers thrive and students succeed.

Guided by her personal motto, “doing small things with great love,” Grissel finds joy and fulfillment in supporting others. Her passion lies in building strong instructional practices, nurturing language development, and creating inclusive learning experiences for all students. She believes that meaningful change begins with intentional acts of service and a heart for community.
