Welcome to fifth grade!
You are part of my eighth pack of Huskies going through fifth grade, and I am so excited to help you wrap up your elementary years! 

Before moving to Texas in 2016, I graduated with honors and a Bachelor of Science degree in Elementary Education from DeSales University in Center Valley, PA. In my years at Madden, I have taught ELA, social studies, math, science, basic survival skills, and GT students. 

I'm a proud wife and mom of three. My family includes Rob, a chemical engineer and avid gardener, Moxie, a grad student at Rensselaer in Troy, NY, (uh, go pucks?) Ben, a recent graduate of the University of Texas, Austin (Hook 'em!) and current grad student at the University of Chicago (flap-on Phil!), and Lily, a senior at Sam Houston University (Eat Em' Up Kats!).  I'm also pet mom to a gaggle of critters: Milo the cat, Hippie, the crazy but ever-lovable Husky-mix, and Birdie, a likewise crazy lab mix.

In my spare time, I enjoy traveling with my family, Walt Disney World, browsing Zillow for places to retire (lol), shopping, appreciating my husband's gardening, and reading. 

I believe that it is essential that parents, teachers, and students work together as a strong team on the journey to success, and I look forward to being your partner this year.
