Ms. Simons is a native Texan.  She holds a Bachelor's degree in English Literature and Philosophy from SHSU and this will be her 26th year teaching.  She joined the Dulles family in 2014.  She taught secondary language arts for 23 years. In 2023 she made the move to Dulles Elementary school and is very excited and privileged to have the opportunity to continue her journey with the Dulles family at Dulles Elementary and work with others to build the foundation for young learners!  She felt called to teach because she is passionate about helping others discover their full potential.  Professionally, she is passionate about challenging students to think, create and problem solve in new and innovative ways that translate into real world scenarios.  Ms. Simons is also a Mom: Madison, a pre-K teacher; Braydon, a 4th grader at Dulles Elementary who loves Math, PE, baseball!  Ms. Simons loves to spend time with her family.  She also loves baseball, cake, coffee and being anywhere near the water!
