Mrs. Angela Angle

Hello! My name is Mrs. Angela Angle.

I am excited to be starting at James Patterson Elementary this year. This will be my first year in elementary Art education, my fourth year in Fort Bend ISD, and my 7th year as an educator. I previously taught 7th and 8th grade history. However, art has always been my passion. I cannot wait to share that with my students.

I was born in Dallas and raised in Houston, TX. I grew up in a family of teachers, so I always knew that I wanted to teach. I am a product of Fort Bend ISD, graduating from Clements High School. As a student, my favorite classes were History and Art.

I attended the University of Houston-Downtown where I received a Bachelor of Arts in History and a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy. At UHD, I was elected Vice President of Phi Sigma Tau, President of the UHD Animal Rescue club, and a member of Sigma Alpha Pi.

I met my husband in college and we were married in 2020 after my first year of teaching. I began my teaching career in Aldine ISD as a 7th grade Texas History teacher. After three years in Aldine ISD, I returned to Fort Bend ISD to contribute to my community.

In 2020, I was selected as the Drew Academy Rookie Teacher of the Year in Aldine ISD.
