Dear Parents and Guardians,

I am Mr. Garcia, a dedicated educator with over two decades of experience teaching in the Houston Independent School District, Alief Independent School District, and Fort Bend Independent School District. Currently, I serve as the Bilingual First Grade Teacher at Townewest Elementary within the Dual Language Program.

I am passionate about fostering a love for learning and enjoy engaging with comics, books, drawing, quality films, and global travel. My goal as a Dual Language Teacher is to empower our Latino first-grade students to develop essential skills, fostering independence, enhancing reading proficiency, preparing for second grade, and cultivating responsible citizenship.

My conference time is from 8:15 to 9:00, only on Tuesdays and Thursdays. 

I am committed to supporting our bilingual students by addressing their areas for growth while building on their strengths. I look forward to a productive and enriching school year and to partnering with you to ensure your child’s success.
