I am a proud graduate of the University of New Orleans with a Bachelor of Arts in Education. Prior to moving to Texas, I grew up in Chalmette, LA. I began my teaching career in St. Bernard Parish, where I taught 4th grade for two years. Upon moving to Texas, I taught 7th grade math at Garcia Middle for one year, 7th and 8th grade math at Sartartia Middle School for 8 years. I am now entering my seventeenth year at Commonwealth, where I will be teaching 5th grade math and science.  
 
I am happily married to my husband of 24 years, Aldo, an engineer for the NBL at NASA. We have one son, Logan, who is 20 years old, and twin girls, Catherine and Isabella, who are 17 years old.
