My name is Jeremiah Umale, and I am very happy to be your child's art teacher. I was born in Laguna, Philippines and am a graduate of George Bush High School in FBISD. I received my Bachelor's degree from the University of Houston in 2022.  Before becoming an art teacher, I worked as a substitute teacher as well as a paraprofessional in the district.

Art has always played an important role in my life. From elementary school to college, art has helped me express myself in ways I couldn't quite do in words. I believe that art is not only a powerful form of self-expression, but also a vital tool for children to build confidence, develop creativity, and discover what they’re capable of achieving.

I hope to nurture your child’s passion for the arts and support their creative growth well past their time in the art classroom. I’m excited to guide them as they bring their ideas to life and grow into the best artists they can be.
