Hello! My name is Zahabiya Shakir, and I am excited to join the team as a Resource Inclusion Teacher.

I began my career in education in 2016, as a Library Aide and a Resource and CLaSS paraprofessional at Cornerstone Elementary. After completing my teacher certification, I transitioned into teaching to further pursue my passion for helping students succeed.

My family and I have called Texas home since 2004. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending time with my husband, Huzefa, and our two children, Hasnain and Insiyah. I look forward to a wonderful school year!
