Hello! My name is Ms. McGovern and I am so excited to be your child’s teacher this year. This is my sixth year of teaching and my fifth year at Walker Station Elementary. I was born and raised in Louisiana (Geaux Tigers!), but I’ve lived in the Houston area for 15 years and counting! I have 2 amazing children, Madelynne and Blake, and 2 energetic dogs, Moose and Poppy. There’s never a dull moment! When I am not teaching, I love reading, hiking, cooking, and anything creative. We're going to have a great year in fifth grade!
