Dr. Dontee Lewis, Asst. Principal

I am honored to serve as the first Assistant Principal of Ferndell Henry Elementary School. I look forward to partnering with our students, staff, and families to build a lasting legacy of excellence—one that will make a meaningful and historic impact on our community.

With more than 25 years of experience in education, I bring a deep commitment to academic excellence and student success. I have taught all elementary grade levels and subjects and have served in leadership roles across three districts. I believe education is the foundation for opportunity and growth, and I am passionate about fostering environments where every student can thrive.

A native Houstonian and proud graduate of Fort Bend ISD’s Willowridge High School, I am grateful to serve the community I call home. I hold a Master’s degree in Educational Leadership and a Doctorate in Organizational Leadership. Education is a family tradition, and my greatest inspiration is my son, Grayson, who reminds me daily of the purpose behind my work and my unwavering belief in every child’s potential.
