Welcome to the Ridgemont ELC! I'm Coach Hernandez and I'm so happy to be the Physical Education teacher at Ridgemont ELC. I received my B.S in Kinesiology at Texas A&M International University in Laredo, TX. This is my 4th year in education and my 2nd year with Fort Bend ISD. For me having a meaningful role in others’ lives is extremely fulfilling, and as a physical education teacher, I feel I am in an ideal setting to do so. I studied Physical Education because I am passionate about sports and helping people reach their fullest potential; and I would love to extend and foster that love of sports and physical activity to my scholars. I truly believe that if students have a positive Physical Education experience, they will be more likely to continue to be physically active throughout their entire lifetime.
