  • Attending Home Athletic Events - REPOST

Originally Posted August 22, 2016 - When students wish to attend an after-school home athletic event (i.e. in the SLMS gymnasium or at Old Kempner Stadium), students will:

    • Go home via their regular method (bus, car, bike, rider, walker)
    • Return to campus no earlier than 15 minutes prior to the start of the event with a parent who will remain with the student during the event and who will take the student home when it is over

Students may not loiter off property in the city park, baseball fields, adjoining properties, or on the school grounds. Admission is free to the events in the SLMS gymnasiums, but events are $2 for adults and $1 for students at Old Kempner Stadium. Students who arrive at the event location without a parent will not be permitted to enter. If a parent must leave the event early, the student will need to leave with the parent, as well. Thank you for your understanding.
