Hello! My name is Mynette Mayes, and I am proud to be a part of the SCE Gator Family. I’ve had the privilege of working in education for 27 years, and this school year marks my 22nd year as a School Counselor—a role I am truly passionate about.

I earned my Bachelor of Science degree in Public Affairs from Texas Southern University and went on to receive my Master of Education in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University.

Outside of school, I am happily married to my husband, William, and we have a wonderful daughter named Mya. In my free time, I enjoy traveling and spending quality time with my family.

I’m looking forward to an amazing school year filled with growth, connection, and success for all our students!
