Clinic Guidelines

Is your child ill with cold/flu-like symptoms?

 

  • Fever 100.0 F or higher
  • Chills
  • Cough
  • Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
  • Fatigue
  • Muscle or body aches
  • Headache
  • New loss of taste or smell
  • Sore throat
  • Congestion or runny nose
  • Nausea or vomiting
  • Diarrhea

 

If yes, stay at home and inform the school. Call your healthcare provider if symptoms worsen.

 

Students will be cleared to return to school after 72 hours provided they:

 

-Are evaluated by their physician/provider and have an alternative diagnosis

 

OR

 

-Receive a NEGATIVE COVID-19 test (PCR)

 

AND

 

-Have been fever free without the use of fever reducing medicines in the last 24 hours of 72 hours

 

 

Students not evaluated by their physician/health care provider, or not having a COVID-19 test indicating they are negative MUST stay home for 10 days, being fever free without the use of fever reducing medicines in the last 24 hours of 72 hours, and symptoms improving.

 

Please be mindful of others so we can stop the spread of viruses and germs to our fellow Tigers.
