Angie Wierzbicki was elected to Position No. 7 of the FBISD Board of Trustees in May 2025.

Wierzbicki has been a public servant, professionally and personally, all her life. Starting with the Peace Corps in 2000, multiple years in nonprofit leadership positions, and most recently as the Grants Manager for Harris County Precinct 4, her professional life has been dedicated to serving the community. Additionally, she has extensive volunteer leadership experience, serving on various nonprofit boards in the community.

Wierzbicki holds a B.A. in Broadcast Journalism from the University of Southern California with a minor in Peace and Conflict Studies. She also earned her master’s degree in Recreation, Parks and Tourism Administration, with an emphasis on community and economic development, from Western Illinois University. She is the co-founder of Missouri City Green, the City’s Keep Texas Beautiful affiliate, and has initiated the inception of several other community organizations. In 2020 and 2022, Wierzbicki was awarded the David Ashworth Community Service Award for the Houston South Region from H-E-B.

As an FBISD parent for six years, Wierzbicki has served on her children’s school’s PTO, first as the FBISD Liaison, then as the Shared Dreams representative. She was also a member of one of the FBISD Calendar Focus Groups in 2023 and 2024 and has just recently been selected to participate in the FBISD Board Leadership Academy.

Angie and her husband, Paul, are 15-year residents of Missouri City. They have two children who currently attend FBISD schools.
