The College Application Process was presented at Senior Conferences, Parent University, 2 Senior Assemblies, SchooLinks announcements to parent and student, and on the CCR website.
Below are reminders that were presented at your Senior Conferences, at Parent University, at Senior Assembly, and sent via SchooLinks.
- If you are using Common App, you should have already emailed your Counselor for them to send your documents. You do NOT need to email your counselor for Apply Texas.
- You can submit your application at any time. You do not need to wait for your counselor to send your documents. They are aware of and will meet all document deadlines.
- There is no advantage to using Common App over Apply Texas. Even if a rep has a preference for them to personally work with, there is no admissions decision advantage. It all ends up in the same portal for processing.
- Many Early Action schools are NOT test optional and you can NOT self-report. You must send your scores using your College Board account. This can take time (1-2 weeks!), so please plan ahead.
As always, I am available in the CCR during all lunches. No appointment needed and no need to miss instruction. If that does not work for you, you can book an appointment with me to call you out of class. I also respond to student emails very quickly.
