Mrs. Tahida Williams

Welcome to Rosa Parks Elementary School Counseling Department. My name is Tahida Williams and I serve in the capacity as the Rosa Parks Rockets School Counselor. All children need to be nurtured while in elementary school. As the school counselor, I am here to assist our student body with their social, academic, and emotional needs. I obtained my undergraduate degree from Grambling State University where I obtained a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science with a minor in History. I obtained a Masters of Art in Counseling from Prairie View A&M University. Prior to becoming the school counselor, I worked as a Special Education Teacher and Secondary History Teacher. Prior to coming to Fort Bend ISD, I was previously employed in HISD.

As a school counselor, teaching doesn’t stop altogether, meaning that I still visit classrooms to promote positive character in the areas of trustworthiness, respect, responsibility, and also guidance lesson on specific needs, such as bullying, stealing, whining, and the difference between tattling and reporting. I love children and I believe we must preparing and aspire them to become productive individuals.
