Teacher Workspaces

Fort Bend ISD prefers that teachers teach from a District-provided safe and no-contact work environment, but this will not be required while Fort Bend County remains on Red alert.

• The District will publish expectations for teachers choosing to work from home, which will be monitored by campus leadership – focus will be on equitable learning experiences for all students.
• Also, teachers with documented health risks will be allowed to remain offsite, but will be monitored by campus leadership.
• When conditions improve all teachers will be expected to return to the workplace on a full-time basis, although exceptions will be allowed based on documented health risks.
• The District will support teachers with childcare assistance and online learning support.
