Candace Richmond

Greetings, Bobcat Nation! I’m Candace Richmond, and I am entering my 16th year in education. My journey began after graduating from Lawrence Elkins High School and attending Texas A&M University, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry with a Minor in Mathematics—Whoop! I began my career as a Chemistry teacher at Humble High School in Humble ISD, where I discovered a passion for supporting both students and colleagues in the classroom.

Seeking to expand my leadership skills, I earned a Master of Education from Lamar University and transitioned into instructional leadership as a Science Instructional Coach at Ross Sterling Middle School. I then returned home to Fort Bend ISD, serving in progressive administrative roles at Christa McAuliffe Middle School, including Assistant Principal, Dean of Instruction, and Associate Principal, where I honed expertise in behavior management, instructional support, and campus leadership.

Currently, I serve as an Associate Principal at First Colony Middle School, where I continue to bring my experience and passion for building strong instructional practices, fostering positive campus culture, and supporting the growth of students and staff alike.
