FBISD Families invited to take part in Scratch Day Community Event, January 28 (1/5/2017)

FORT BEND ISD (January 5, 2016) – Fort Bend ISD’s Digital Learning Team invites Fort Bend ISD students, parents and teachers to join in its Scratch Day community event to learn how to create interactive stories, games and animations using the free Scratch programming. Scratch promotes creativity, systemic reasoning and collaboration among people of all ages.


The event will be held Saturday, January 28 at Missouri City Middle School (202 Martin Lane, Missouri City, TX 77489), from 8:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. Workshops will be available for beginning Scratch users as well as for those who have been “Scratching” for years. The event will also feature a raffle for fun prizes.


While the event is free, registration is required to attend. Click here to access and submit the online registration form.
