FBISD Teachers Recognized at 39th HAABSE Teacher of the Year Ceremony
FORT BEND ISD (February 25, 2026) – Sixty-two outstanding Fort Bend ISD educators were recognized at the 39th Annual Teacher of the Year Ceremony hosted by the Houston Area Alliance of Black School Educators (HAABSE).
FBISD Career and Technical Education teacher Mckenzie Jones-Channel was the second runner-up for the Secondary HAABSE Teacher of the Year.
The annual event honors excellence in education and recognizes teachers who demonstrate a deep commitment to student success and academic achievement.
