Six Fort Bend ISD High Schools Named to 2025 Texas AP School Honor Roll
FORT BEND ISD (January 28, 2026) – Fort Bend ISD is proud to announce that six of its high schools have been named to the 2025 Texas AP School Honor Roll.
The AP School Honor Roll celebrates schools whose Advanced Placement programs are delivering strong results while expanding access to rigorous, college-level coursework. Schools earn this annual distinction based on their commitment to building a strong college-going culture, increasing participation in AP courses, and supporting student success.
The College Board offers four levels of recognition: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Platinum.
Fort Bend ISD’s 2025 Honor Roll schools are:
Clements High School* – Gold
Austin High School – Silver
Dulles High School – Silver
Elkins High School* – Silver
Ridge Point High School* – Silver
Kempner High School* – Bronze
(*has been on the AP School Honor Roll list three consecutive years)
To qualify, schools must show that at least 40 percent of graduating seniors take an AP exam and at least 25 percent score a 3 or higher. They must also demonstrate depth of participation, with students taking multiple AP exams during their high school careers.
- Clements had 72% of seniors who took at least one AP Exam during high school, 64% of seniors scoring a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 41% of seniors who took five or more AP Exams.
- Dulles had 53% of seniors who took at least one AP Exam during high school, 48% of seniors scoring a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 28% of seniors who took five or more AP Exams.
- Elkins had 55% of seniors who took at least one AP Exam during high school, 46 % of seniors scoring a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 28% of seniors who took five or more AP Exams.
- Ridge Point had 53% of seniors who took at least one AP Exam during high school, 43% of seniors scoring a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 23% of seniors who took five or more AP Exams.
- Austin had 50% of seniors who took at least one AP Exam during high school, 42% of seniors scoring a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 23% of seniors who took five or more AP Exams.
- Kempner had 47% of seniors who took at least one AP Exam during high school, 34% of seniors scoring a 3 or higher on at least one AP Exam, and 17% of seniors who took five or more AP Exams.
The College Board’s AP Program allows students to take college-level courses while in high school, helping them build critical thinking and problem-solving skills and prepare for success after graduation.
