FORT BEND ISD (January 6, 2026) - Beginning in the 2026–27 school year, Fort Bend ISD will launch exciting new opportunities for elementary students through its Two-Way Dual Language Spanish-English and Mandarin Immersion Programs. Starting with an inaugural cohort of kindergarten students, the programs will expand by one grade level each year, ultimately serving students through 5th grade. These innovative programs are designed to provide enriched, multilingual learning experiences that equip students with the skills and cultural understanding needed to thrive in a global society.

Parent information sessions:

Families are invited to attend in-person or virtual sessions offered in English and Spanish from January 6–28. Session locations may not reflect the campuses where programs will be offered. Once program locations are finalized, the district will share that information publicly.
