FORT BEND ISD (November 6, 2025) – This week, several hundred Fort Bend ISD students are receiving free eye exams and eyeglasses through the Houston Health Department’s See to Succeed program.

The annual outreach provides vision exams to students in need from across the greater Houston area. Participating students were identified by campus nurses and screened for multiple eye conditions and selected a new pair of eyeglasses with help from volunteer technicians.

Established in 2011, See to Succeed is a collaborative effort among the Houston Health Department, Houston Health Foundation, local school districts and community partners to provide essential vision care to children in need.
