Fort Bend ISD (July 23, 2025) – Fort Bend ISD Superintendent Dr. Marc Smith challenged district leaders to raise the bar for the upcoming school year as he unveiled the district’s 2025-26 theme: “Level Up.”

“We established our instructional foundation during the first year of our journey together,” Smith said. “Now, as we enter our second year, it’s time to level up.”

The new theme builds upon the district’s ongoing campaign, Lead the PAC — focusing on Professionalism, Accountability and Communication — with an emphasis on encouraging students and staff to embrace and exemplify these attributes at an even higher level.
 
Smith highlighted what he called “wins,” showcasing the district’s accomplishments from last year based on including STAAR and EOC tests and MAP data.

“We have much to celebrate,” Smith said. “Our results are speaking loudly. Let’s keep executing with excellence.”

As students and staff level up throughout the school year, the district will “Tell Our Story” loud and proud.
