District graduates awarded Men For Change college scholarships (6/21/2022)

FORT BEND ISD (June 21, 2022) – Five graduates from Fort Bend ISD’s Class of 2022 were recently awarded college scholarships at this year’s Men For Change Scholarship Awards Dinner.

The recipients each received $1,500 scholarships, awarded based on their academic success, merit and proven leadership.

Among those in attendance at the event were FBISD Board Secretary Dr. Shirly Rose-Gilliam and Deputy Superintendent Steve Bassett.

The graduates were:

Hamza Saeed (Elkins High School)
Taylor Matthews (Marshall High School)
Nneoma Onochie (Dulles High School)
Sheku Dumbuya (Hightower High School)
J’Mya Hughes (Willowridge High School)
