Fort Bend ISD invites parents, students to learn about its Career and Technical Education program on January 25
Fort Bend ISD (January 11, 2022) — Fort Bend ISD invites students and parents to learn about the district’s Career and Technical Education (CTE) program at a “What is CTE?” event on January 25, 2022, from 6:30 - 7:30 p.m. at the James Reese Career and Technical Center (12300 University Blvd., Sugar Land, TX 77478).
Event attendees will gain insight into the programs available to FBISD middle and high school students. FBISD CTE Director Meredith Watassek will share general information about the programs and how to plan for participation in them.
In addition, local industry professionals will participate in a panel discussion to explain how CTE programs benefit students in the workplace. Panelists include:

Career and Technical Education programs combine academic and technical skills in a hands-on learning environment. The course content is designed to prepare students for careers in current and/or emerging professions following high school.
