Classes Resume Wednesday, Sept. 15 for All But 7 Schools (9/14/2021)
FORT BEND IDS (September 14, 2021) – Classes will resume normally at Fort Bend ISD elementary, middle and high schools tomorrow, Wednesday, September 15, 2021, except for seven schools that were impacted by power outages due to Hurricane Nicholas: Baines, First Colony, Fort Settlement and Hodges Bend middle schools; Schiff, Settlers Way, and Sullivan elementary schools.
The District is aware that some of our parents, students and staff may still be without power or may have suffered damage during the storm and we encourage families to make decisions in the best interest of their safety and well-being.
Please note: Staff members who work at the seven campuses listed will receive instructions from their supervisors on when and where to report to work in order to lend support to other campuses where staff shortages exist.

Fort Settlement Middle School

Please note that the District may experience transportation delays as we continue to face challenges presented by a significant shortage of bus drivers.
All after-school activities at elementary, middle, and high schools are scheduled to resume normally tomorrow, including UIL activities, extended day, and extended learning.
Additional information and updates will continue to be shared with parents and staff at the seven campuses listed above.
We are thankful the storm did not result in large-scale damages in our area.
We look forward to seeing our students back at school and ready to resume instruction tomorrow morning.
