Sullivan Elementary named top FBISD fundraising school in Pennies for Patients Program (6/25/2020)

FORT BEND ISD (June 25, 2020) – Congratulations to the students, staff and community of Sullivan Elementary for being recognized by the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society as the Number 1 Fort Bend ISD school to take part in this year’s Pennies for Patients Program. The Sullivan Elementary community raised more than $5,617 to support blood cancer patients.


Other FBISD schools participating in the fundraiser included: Blue Ridge, Brazos Bend, Briargate, Burton, Colony Bend, Commonwealth, Cornerstone, Dulles, Fleming, Glover, Goodman, Highlands, Holley, Hunters Glen, Jones, Jordan, Lakeview, Lantern Lane, Madden, Malala, Neill, Mission Bend, Mission Glen, Mission West, Oakland, Oyster Creek, Palmer, Parks, Patterson, Pecan Grove, Quail Valley, Scanlan Oaks, Seguin, Settlers Way, Sugar Mill, Townewest, Walker Station elementaries; Baines, First Colony, Garcia, Lake Olympia, McAuliffe, Missouri City, Quail Valley, Sartartia middle schools; and Bush, Clements, Dulles, Kempner, Travis high schools.


The Leukemia and Lymphoma Society (LLS) is a 501©(3) organization and global leader in the fight against cancer.
