Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees to hold virtual business meeting due to ongoing COVID-19 precautions (4/3/2020)

Community members invited to participate through live stream


FORT BEND ISD (April 3, 2020) - The Fort Bend ISD Board of Trustees will hold a Special Called Meeting on Monday, April 6 to address important, timely matters related to the District’s response to the COVID-19 virus. The meeting will be held in a virtual format so that the District can exercise appropriate COVID-19 precautions. All Board members and staff will participate remotely as the FBISD Administration building remains closed during this time. 


The meeting will be held at 6:00 p.m., and all community members who wish to listen live to the meeting will be able to do so at The meeting agenda includes the District’s continuing operation during COVID-19, as well postponement of the Board general election. 


Community members who wish to address the Board during the Audience Items portions of the board meeting are to follow the normal procedures and complete the "Request to Address the FBISD Board of Trustees – Agenda Review Workshop" form available on the Fort Bend ISD website. Please submit your request via the online form by 4:30 p.m., on Monday, April 6, 2020, so staff can confirm receipt of the request and provide you the telephone number to dial into to participate in the meeting.
