Colony Bend Elementary's Shweta Khade named 2020 TEPSA Assistant Principal of the Year (2/10/2020)

FORT BEND ISD (February 10, 2020) – The Texas Elementary Principals and Supervisors Association (TEPSA) has named Shweta Khade as the 2020 Region 4 Assistant Principal of the Year.  

 

Mrs. Khade currently serves as an assistant principal at Colony Bend Elementary. Before her role as an administrator, she trained as an assistant principal intern at Brazos Bend Elementary and participated in Fort Bend ISD’s Responsive Instruction, Library Design, and Gifted and Talented task forces. During her eight-year teaching career, Mrs. Khade developed Robotics and STEAM programs, piloted engineering courses, and led Destination Imagination. Mrs. Khade strives to foster "an environment of growth mindset and grit where every child can progress.” 

 

TEPSA will honor Mrs. Khade along with other regional winners from around Texas during their 2020 Summer Conference held in Austin.
