Fort Bend ISD Career and Technical Education to host a Grand Opening Event of The Shop, The Grill, and The Salon at James Reese Career and Technical Center (1/31/2020)
FORT BEND ISD (January 31, 2020) – Fort Bend ISD’s Department of Career and Technical Education (CTE) will hold the grand opening of its student-run Enterprise Learning Labs - The Shop, The Grill and The Salon at Reese Center on Saturday, February 8 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. CTE students will provide services to the public, while gaining real-world industry experience. Patrons will also have the opportunity to learn more about the educational programs offered through CTE at the Reese Center and FBISD high schools.
All services will be scheduled by appointment only; the last available appointment for each venue will begin at 2:00 p.m. Customers will need to bring cash only for service, and no bills larger than $20 can be accepted. Because this is a training facility and service will be part of the curricular educational experience, gratuity is not accepted.
Breakfast and lunch menu items are available through The Grill. At The Salon, services include manicures, pedicures, haircut, blow dry, and several other add-ons. If you are looking for an oil change, The Shop at Reese is the perfect place. Because there are such a vast array of automobiles on the market, it is impossible for our educational facility to stock air filters. Patrons should bring their own air filter for the oil change. All other food, oil products, and hair and nail chemicals will be provided as part of the services offered.
